dc.descriptionEl acceso a la información y la conectividad son fundamentales para la sociedad y los negocios, lo que hace que la demanda de redes de alta velocidad y rendimiento sea cada vez más crítica. Es por ello que el objetivo fundamental de esta investigación está centrado en estudiar el desempeño de la transmisión de datos en una red 100 Gb/s DSP-Assisted PON. Por la naturaleza del objeto de estudio, el tipo de investigación es exploratorio. Dado que el objetivo general es estudiar el desempeño de la transmisión de datos en una red 100 Gb/s DSP-Assisted PON, la investigación exploratoria permitirá a los investigadores comprender el comportamiento y las características de la red en diferentes condiciones y configuraciones. Así mismo, por el enfoque del proyecto, el tipo de Investigación es cuantitativo, ya que esta se centra en medir y analizar bit error rate, potencia recibida y eficiencia del filtro DSP.spa
dc.description.abstractThat is why the fundamental objective of this research is focused on studying the performance of data transmission in a 100Gb/s DSP-Assisted PON network. Due to the nature of the object of study, the type of research will be exploratory. Since the general objective is to study the performance of data transmission in a 100Gb/s DSP-Assisted PON network, the exploratory research will allow researchers to understand the behavior and characteristics of the network in different conditions and configurations. Likewise, due to the focus of the project, the type of research will be quantitative, since it focuses on measuring and analyzing bit error rate, received power and DSP filter efficiency.spa
