Abstract

This project attempts to highlight the most basic parts of wireless links by providing clear and concise ideas on the most basic parts of an Internet Service Provider (ISP), the study of the area where the service and infrastructure are going to be offered. Carrying out inspections to the study area, field measurements and simulations where a possible solution will be given. The purpose of the network is to design a wireless link and reduce the existing digital gap as far as possible, for the rural population Unidos Venceremos 2, which is located about 28 kilometers from the Pedro Vicente Maldonado canton, by designing a radio link to cover the area, the method will be a little closer to the technological advances that will emerge over time. The project is divided into 4 main chapters, which are the analysis of the area where the respective simulations will be carried out, the design of a new network to offer to the rural area of Unidos Venemos 2, and budget analysis. Finally, the respective conclusions will be made based on the simulations and designs that will be offered to the rural area, united we will win 2, with a cost that may mean the nonviability of the project.
