Diseño del sistema de alumbrado público y ornamental en base a la norma CIE dentro de un campus universitario

Abstract

This work develops the design of the public and ornamental lighting system of the university campus facilities under quality parameters based on international and local regulations. For public lighting, the CIE-115 standard will be used, which is considered the mother standard, since several of the distribution companies worldwide use the same recommendations for their local regulations. While for ornamental lighting, since it does not have a regulation, its design will be based on the criteria of the institution, complying with the ordinance of ARCONEL-007. The educational institution in which the project is to be carried out has a poor lighting system and outdated technology, which does not benefit its aesthetic appearance. For this reason, the design of the lighting system is proposed, improving the aesthetic aspect of the university campus. Using LED technology luminaires which offer a higher light output compared to traditional technologies based on mercury and sodium. In this project, the planimetric survey of the entire campus was carried out to later move on to the different simulations of the scenarios within the institution and achieve lighting that meets all the quality parameters recommended by the regulations.
