Abstract

The ARCH is responsible for regulating, controlling and supervising the activities of companies in the Hydrocarbons sector in the country, the amount of information generated is abundant, which represents a great challenge for the administration in terms of registration, classification, search for specific data and reporting; therefore, it is necessary to automate these processes, through the development and implementation of a computer system that helps us manage the large volume of information in a more efficient way. The importance of the Analysis, elaboration and implementation of a Computer System for the Agency of Hydrocarbons Regulation and Control is based on the contribution that it gives to the administration of the information, in such a way that it allows the development of processes in time ranges and lower costs to the current ones, benefiting their workers in giving an accurate and effective response to the request for reports and documents related to information that contains the operations of oil blocks (Drilling, deposits-geology, production and production facilities), and in turn to the people in charge of the administration of the information carried out by the control and inspection of exploration and exploitation of the ARCH.
