Análisis del sentido epistemológico del periodismo informativo ecuatoriano aplicados al medio digital comunitario “Wambra Radio”

Abstract

This article focuses on the study of the empirical context of traditional / digital media from the media construction in the digital space as it analyzes the epistemological meaning of journalism through the interpretive information of real events from the ideological editorial positions of the media to the sociocultural configurations of the contemporary public and social dimension. In this research work, three techniques were carried out that supported the results of the same, which are: the outline of the journalistic activity of “Wambra Radio” during the 2019 national strike, the results of the surveys of the students of the Salesian Polytechnic University that They collaborated with criticality by being part of a convergent audience and interviews with the journalistic team of the digital community medium who were present with the coverage and reports in real time. In this digital age, communication is considered a constant discipline of social change since it integrates social networks in a space of interaction between mobile media and readers. It is important to say that digital journalism establishes current cultural communication strategies since there is a lot of responsibility when preparing a news item, it is ensured that the facts are objective and true, the understanding of it establishes a correct meaning.
