Los discursos informativos del diario el comercio entorno a la despenalización del aborto

Abstract

The following article presents how the media “El Diario El Comercio” address the issue of decriminalization of abortion in Ecuador for rape, from June to November 2018. This analysis was based on the study of the media, already mentioned above, and the observation of the respective results. The months before the debate existed were also taking into account, this previously mentioned medium only published one news article per month on the topic addressed, likewise the production of the news was analyzed, and whether they were of opinion on the part of the readers, or if in truth it had impartiality to report on this subject with verifiable data. To talk about abortion, as a social problem, where the importance of the issue must be addressed and that through them the media tends to have a neutral position when publishing such news. We know that it is important as journalists to disclose verifiable information, and not to add value judgments or place personal opinions at the time of writing, but a news must have verifiable sources and must have precise and concrete content, where each sentence is constructed in a way natural where you can have evidence of the facts and transmit it to the reader. However, to address the investigation we must have in mind how the news is made and thus begin to overflow what is needed or simply if the meet those characteristics, the news found in El Diario El Comercio ought to have a position according to the investigated subject to be exposed to several readers and users who make use of this platform, which is a digital newspaper, from that it will be demonstrated in the results of this research. This is why, it saw the need, to carry out this analysis to check what the perspective is like, of the writers of this media, at the moment of writing this news and thus to get the media to give truthful information about what is taking place around the Ecuadorian society.
