Situaciones límite y su incidencia en el desempeño académico

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to expose the limit situations as a way to understand the meaning of life through overcoming or correct acceptance of them, knowing that it is an imminent fact in human existence in this way is the man destined to face situations that have been given, since it is an empirical being that is in the world and is the only human being with reason. The idea of an authentic life is presented when confronting and understanding situations as what will lead to one's own transcendence, to evoke the awareness of one's own limits and to live freedom in such a way that man takes charge of his own life project by removing the veil and confronting life as a being that exists. In the educational ambit the limit situations are presented to students who do not know how cope with them and their school performance decreases as it unbalances their psyche and moves them from the comfort zone, for that reason it is important to think about an education that is holistic, that is to say that it integrates diverse knowledges. These knowledges will serve as instruments to the integral development of the student and face limit situations in the best way by taking critical positions about them.
