Evaluación y propuestas de mejores en la distribución espacial de la fábrica Servipaxa S.A.

Abstract

The plastic processing company for the banana production SERVIPAXA S.A. The object of study of this research does not have a suitable spatial distribution of the centers of activity and elements that intervene in the productive system. In this context, this project aims to evaluate, analyze and present a proposal for the redesign of spatial distribution. Based on field research and the Layout Performance Index Method (IDL), the aim is to evaluate the performance of the current spatial distribution of the facilities and to identify the main existing problems, thus seeking to optimize production. Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) method is used to obtain an optimal alternative for the distribution of the plant for SERVIPAXA S.A. The benefits that we will obtain with the new distribution are reduction of time in the operations, security in the activities that the workers carry out, improve the utility and maximize the use of human and material resources, fulfilling safety and quality standards.
