dc.descriptionThis paper is about qualitative and quantitative investigation, through the analysis of communication theories, focused on the principles of Educommunication, and the new Technologies of Communication and Information (ICT), it allowed to work in a digital repository for the new brand of the Social Communication Career of the Salesian Polytechnic University, Quito, without leaving apart the main base of transmediacion, product interface and communication networks, the main result of this investigation is a mobile library app, the app it’s going to help freshman students in the beginning of the career. This kind of new apps allowed the students to find easily useful academic books, engagement with different subjects, increase the participation and collaboration between student-student and student-teacher, and reach the construction of the knowledge together.en_US
dc.description.abstractEl presente producto comunicativo se sustenta en una investigación cualitativa y cuantitativa a través del análisis de las teorías de la comunicación, enfocados en los principios de educomunicación, así como en las nuevas Tecnologías de la Comunicación y la Información (TIC), lo que permitió trabajar un repositorio digital para la nueva malla de la Carrera de Comunicación Social de la Universidad Politécnica Salesiana, Sede Quito, sin dejar de lado el fundamento de transmediación, interfaz del producto y redes de comunicación; teniendo como resultado el desarrollo de un aplicativo móvil como herramienta de aprendizaje bibliográfico que servirá a los estudiantes de primer semestre de la Carrera. El desarrollo de entornos digitales de este tipo permite a los estudiantes obtener los textos académicos de una forma práctica y útil, comprometerse con las diferentes asignaturas, así como la participación y colaboración entre estudiante- estudiante y estudiante- docente, para lograr la construcción del conocimiento en conjunto.en_US
