| Abstract: | La red social Facebook nació en el año 2004 de la mano de su creador Mark Zukerberg como un espacio en el que sus usuarios tienen la posibilidad de intercambiar información y contenido multimedia. Se constituyó desde ese entonces en un campo en el que se favorece la interacción social y la comunicación. Debido a la inmediatez con la que se puede compartir contenidos multimedia y la posibilidad de emitir criterios personales en esta red social, es factible concebirla como un espacio en el que se puede realizar el ejercicio de ciudadanía. En el presente ensayo por medio del análisis de discurso cuantitativo se analiza la posibilidad de que la cuenta que Diario “El Comercio” mantiene en la red social Facebook pueda convertirse en un espacio de ejercicio de ciudadanía. Para demostrar esta hipótesis se realiza una aproximación teórica con conceptos como Ciudadanía, Interacción ciudadana y redes sociales y comunicación. |
| Translated abstract: | The social network Facebook was born in 2004 from the hand of its creator Mark Zukerberg as a space where users have the ability to exchange information and multimedia content. Since then Facebook had established in a field which social interaction and communication is enhanced. Because of the immediacy where multimedia content can be shared and also the possibility to express criteria of personal issues in this network can be done, it is possible to conceive of a space which you can perform the exercise of citizenship. This essay can show the exercise of citizenship through the quantitative analysis of the speech in the account of the newspaper “El Comercio" kept in the social network Facebook can become an exercise of public space where citizenship exercise can be done. To test this hypothesis a theoretical approach with concepts like citizenship, citizen and social interaction and communication networks is performed. |
