| dc.description | The present case study explains how teaching techniques are developed with respect to the initiation of the Reading and Writing Skills in children of first year or Elementary School, specifically of Dafi Kids Children Development Centre. It is located in Rumiñahui in the Sangolqui parish. This group has 18 children. In this investigation it was possible to observe six determined categories which are planning, structure of the methodology, organization, teacher/student interaction, evaluation and academic tasks. This observation was made over a period of two months for about six hours a week. For the case studies the ethnographic method was applied, along with techniques and tools of the qualitative method. Among these we can find observation, participant, semi-structured interviews, a field diary and an observation file. Through these, the necessary information was acquired in order to make the analysis, which has been related to theoretical elements about the praxis of the teaching and learning of Reading and Writing Skills. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | El presente estudio de caso explica cómo se desarrollan las prácticas de enseñanza con relación a la iniciación de la lecto-escritura en niños y niñas del Primer Año de Educación Básica del Centro de Desarrollo Infantil Dafi Kids, que está ubicado en el cantón Rumiñahui en la Parroquia Sangolquí. Este grupo tiene 18 niños. En esta investigación se observó, durante dos meses y por seis horas a la semana, las seis categorías determinadas para la realización de este trabajo, que son: planificación, estructura metodológica, organización, interacción docente/alumno, evaluación y tareas académicas. Para el estudio de casos se empleó el método etnográfico, las técnicas e instrumentos de la metodología cualitativa, como son: la observación participante, entrevistas semi-estructuradas, diario de campo y ficha de observación, a través de las cuales se obtuvo la información necesaria para realizar el análisis, la cual se relacionó con elementos teóricos sobre la práctica de enseñanza aprendizaje de la escritura y la lectura. | en_US |
